Da Boyz GT Photos

The Da Boyz GT was held this past weekend at the Bristol Harbor Inn located in the scenic Finger Lakes region of Western NY. As always, their events draw in a large crowd with some of the top players from around the US and Canada. With over a 100 players for 40k and around 60 for Fantasy, it was a great weekend for gaming, drinking, seeing old friends, and making new ones. So let's cut to the chase and show off some pictures I took during the weekend.

Eldar, Tournament Afterthoughts

Two weekends ago Millennium Game ran a 1500 point comp themed tournament and this would be my first time using my Eldar in a tournament setting. I placed 8th out of 14 players with a total of 47 points while the top player earned 71 battle points. This was advertised as a comped event so I planned my list accordingly and the only duplicate unit I brought was two guardian squads. Since I want to either run a full Eldar list or a Eldar/Tau list for this fall's Da Boyz GT, I figured I would start tinkering with some combinations.

Warhammer 40k Demo Day

Next weekend a group of us will be hosting a warhammer 40k demo day at Millennium Games in Henrietta. If you, or someone you know, is new to warhammer 40k or have simply been out of the game for awhile then stop by next Saturday, May 25th to learn about the game.

We will be running small, squad sized demos for those who are brand new to the game and 400-500pt demos for those who are familiar with warhammer 40k but have not played under 6th edition.

We will have multiple armies on display and be available to answer questions about the game, talk about the different armies, painting techniques, modeling, and more.
