I haven't been posting much recently because I've fully dedicated myself to the task of finishing my dark eldar for this year's GT. Here are some shots from the workbench and updates.
I've begun assembling, priming, and basing projects. I'm attempting to fully optimize my free time so I jump from project to project depending on how much time I have in the morning and evening. Above is the razorwing jetfighter I've basecoated with the airbrush.
Here's various stages of basing for grotesques and beasts. In the back is the model I'm using for Lady Malys.
Here's the rest of the army awaiting attention. I'm still missing the eldar allies, a few beasts, and Baron Sathonyx as well but should get them soon. Here's a project list for the next 10 weeks.
Lady Malys: paint, base
Baron Sathonyx: convert, paint
Maugan Ra: assemble, paint, base
Grotesques: bases x7
Rangers x5: assemble, paint, base
Warriors: assemble, paint x5, bases x12
Wyches: paint x4, bases x10
Beasts: assemble x4, paint x12, bases x14
Razorwing Jetfighter: paint, base
War Walkers x3: assemble, paint, base
Aegis Defense Line + Icarus Lascannon: scratch-build and paint
Display Board: scratch-build and paint
It's a lot to do in 10 weeks, but I think I can pull it off. Look for a weekly update but not many other articles unless I make it out to the monthly tournaments as all my free time will be dedicated to painting.
Best of luck. It's gonna be a tight ten week schedule for sure.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the finished army. I have faith in it looking fantastic when it's all done :)
ReplyDeleteI was planning to go this year but I'll be in South Africa that week.
ReplyDeleteGood luck! Looking forward to seeing this progress :-)
