I am very interested in this color scheme as it really pops! I'm rather new to painting and airbrushing so it will all be a big learning curve :)

Cheers,
MitchAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13356703750425659617noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4260829252124595446.post-26199097300368339082012-07-31T08:50:44.906-04:002012-07-31T08:50:44.906-04:00Right now I paint at about 18-20 PSI.

FolkArt paints tend to come off the shelf with the consistency of toothpaste. I typically squeeze out 25%-33% of the bottle into the garbage and replace that much volume with water and shake vigorously. That usually gives me a viscosity to get clean drops of paint from the bottle. At that point, I usually use about 3 drops of paint to 1 drop water mixed directly into the airbrushing pot and stir well with a sucker stick.hyv3myndhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16986893384791002364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4260829252124595446.post-75616301561768665182012-07-30T14:54:00.562-04:002012-07-30T14:54:00.562-04:00Could you talk a bit about how you thin your paint...Could you talk a bit about how you thin your paints and what PSI settings you use?Fearspecthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03726750615994437290noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4260829252124595446.post-52431990309968034262012-07-27T13:58:04.467-04:002012-07-27T13:58:04.467-04:00I liked this post alot, it gave me some nice point...I liked this post alot, it gave me some nice pointers. Getting a dual action airbrush is important, but IDK about all the extras. I've never had my hands on an expensive airbrush to compare mine to. FWIW I use a $30 central pneumatic airbrush at work and I bet it's just as good as mine.

The compressor I use is also a Central Pneumatic product. You can see it in the first pic. It's about $90 at Harbor Freight which also has printable coupons.hyv3myndhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16986893384791002364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4260829252124595446.post-60993933532401307332012-07-25T21:17:15.839-04:002012-07-25T21:17:15.839-04:00Thanks man.
